Reports to: Regional Organizing Director
The Pennsylvania Democratic Party is hiring Digital Organizers to ensure that President Biden and Democrats up and down the ballot secure victory in November. At their core, a Digital Organizer loves building community online; connects and activates people; is ready to build relationships; loves talking to voters; and believes in developing and coaching others to do more. They will collaborate with their volunteers to build a culture of digital engagement and volunteer infrastructure for their turf. They will report to a Regional Organizer who ensures that voter contact and capacity building goals are met online and offline.
Responsibilities

Build grassroots volunteer leadership to engage with direct and relational voter contact.

Engage with the community in their turf to create a relentlessly visible campaign online.

Implement digital and relational organizing tactics, including virtual voter contact events.

Identify and engage with existing online communities to recruit volunteers, build relationships, and foster connection with the campaign.

Train volunteers on how to utilize online networks to organize for the campaign.

Provide digital content, messaging guidance, and training to volunteers to be effective messengers for the campaign online and strategically engage their networks.

Regularly engage with supporters and volunteers in their respective digital community to cultivate a culture of ongoing engagement online and best practice sharing.

Set and exceed goals for volunteer recruitment and retention, as well as voter contact.

Track, follow up, and coach volunteers who engage online to collect feedback on interactions, comments, and conversations.

This role is a full time, in person role located in cities across Pennsylvania.
