Regional Political Director

Salary: $5,500-6,500/monthly

The Pennsylvania Democratic Party and Biden for President are hiring Regional Political Directors to work with our wide-scale organizing operation in the fight for the soul of our nation.

The Regional Political Directors will report to Political & Coalitions Director and assist them in the planning and implementation of programs to build the grassroots organization necessary to persuade and mobilize voters in 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with your Deputy Political and Coalitions Director to implement the campaign’s constituency engagement plan – including event planning, mobilization and public speaking.
  • Assist in managing external relationships such as elected officials, organized labor, political advocacy and community groups, and activists among others.
  • Build and support the campaign's political relationships and suggest strategic outreach to key individuals and groups to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones.
  • Assist in planning, building and staffing engagement events.
  • Assist in planning for and execution of principal trips and surrogate visits.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working on/in political campaigns, community organizing, government or related fields
  • Experience training, supporting, and managing staff/volunteers in an electoral or community engagement capacity
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities (with an emphasis on attention to details)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

This role is a full time, in person role that will be located in one of the following offices: Erie, Lehigh Valley, and Collar Counties (Delaware, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester).
