The 2020 Pennsylvania Democratic Coordinated Campaign is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and talented Democrats. The PA Coordinated Campaign will play a critical role in electing a Democrat to the White House, re-electing Attorney General Shapiro and Treasurer Torsella, and electing Democrats down-ticket, including U.S. House and State Legislative districts across the Commonwealth.

Content & Social Media Manager

Department: Coordinated
Location: , PA

The Content & Social Media Manager reports to the Digital Director and supports the Communications Team in the creation of high-impact graphics, copy, and digital content. The ideal candidate knows how to educate, persuade, and motivate voters with digital media.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Dreaming up and executing exciting content ideas across email, social media, and traditional media platforms

  • Planning, writing, designing, and publishing digital content in a fast-paced campaign environment

  • Moderating and engaging online communities in a variety of forums

  • Assisting with other digital duties as needed; working effectively across Digital, Organizing, and Comms teams to ensure an integrated strategy

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • 1-2 years/cycles of experience in graphic design or social media management (internship and school experience considered)

  • Exceptional written and visual communication skills, especially in a marketing or mass communications context

  • Proficiency in visual design applications, like Photoshop and Canva

  • Experience with social tools like TweetDeck, Facebook Groups, etc...

  • Commitment to electing all Democrats on the ballot

Preferred (Not Required) 

  • Video production experience a plus
  • Fluency in languages other than English a plus
