Deputy Field Director

Department: Field

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement strategies and systems that lead your regions to successfully meet daily and weekly organizing metrics

  • Assist the Field Director with developing tactics that support the statewide organizing program

  • Work effectively with other departments to facilitate communication and support structures for organizing team

  • Communicate clear priorities, needs and expectations up and down the chain

  • Consistently meet daily and weekly metric goals in your regions; ensure data quality

Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 2 cycles of competitive campaign organizing experience, including at least 1 cycle of staff management

  • Strong interpersonal skills; strong sense of self-awareness

  • Flexible, adaptable and solutions-oriented

  • Comfortable with managing from metrics; has a history of meeting metric goals

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure

  • Working knowledge of VAN/Votebuilder and other campaign technology platforms

  • Ability to work long and irregular hours in a fast paced, metrics- driven work environment

  • Has access to a vehicle or other reliable transportation; ability to relocate as necessary

The Deputy Organizing Directors will report to the Organizing Director.
